Laura Linney
Laura Leggett Linney is an American actress born February 5, 1964. She has received numerous awards including 4 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Linney's Broadway debut was in 1990. Linney has been awarded Tony Award nods for her Broadway revivals The Crucible (2002), Sight Unseen (2004, Time Stands Still 2010) as well as The Little Foxes revival (2017), My Name Is Lucy Barton (2021) as well as The Little Foxes revival (2017). The actress won her the first Emmy Award in 2001 for the TV film Wild Iris. Subsequent wins included the comedy Frasier 2003-2004 and the Miniseries John Adams 2008. She starred in 2010 as a character in The Big C on Showtime, for which she won a fourth Emmy award in 2013. and from 2017 to 2022, she'll play a lead role in Netflix's crime show Ozark.
